Maurizio is an award-winning hairdresser (and former salon Hairdresser of the Year) who’s been in the business for two decades.

Maurizio has showcased his hairdressing talents at international events including London and Paris Fashion Weeks, and has gained quite a following in the process. He also takes part in the Oribe ateliers and session stylings, and is an educator for Oribe.

He love`s what he does and has a passion for making people feel great about themselves.

He only works with organic, vegan-friendly, ethical products and has done since the day they opened nearly four years ago.

With over 25 years of experience in the hairdressing industry, I bring a wealth of skill, creativity, and passion to every client I work with. UK-born with strong Italian roots, my approach blends classic technique with a natural sense of style, precision, and flair.

I specialise in all aspects of hairdressing for both men and women, with a particular passion for cutting—especially short hair. Whether it's a sharp, structured look or something softer and more textured, I focus on creating styles that are tailored, wearable, and easy to maintain.

Alongside cutting, I have extensive colour knowledge, allowing me to create everything from natural, lived-in tones to bold, transformative looks. I take care to ensure colour complements both the cut and the individual, enhancing overall style while maintaining the health and integrity of the hair.

Over the years, I've built a reputation for attention to detail, consistency, and understanding exactly what suits each individual. My goal is simple: to make every client leave feeling confident, refreshed, and completely themselves.

It’s great that the rest of the world is catching up with us, but we’re very proud of the fact that we’ve been using organic, vegan-friendly, ethical haircare ranges since the day we opened, nearly four years ago. Even our colour ranges are all ammonia free, sustainable and vegan-friendly.

Anything that isn’t made by OWAY comes from luxury haircare specialists Oribe. They’re PETA approved, vegetarian friendly and cruelty free, as well as being dermatologically tested, with no gluten, sulphates or parabens.

All the packaging is recyclable too, and they’re colour and keratin blow-dry safe.

Smoothly does it…

Our final mention is for the cruelty-free and vegan-friendly 72 Hair Smoothing Treatment, which we use to great effect. They’re a family-run business like us, so we’re very happy to support them – and their Smooth Collection is simply fantastic.

Most of our colour and haircare ranges are made with all-natural active ingredients by Organic Way (OWAY). They don’t contain any ammonia, sulphates or petroleum (believe it or not, most hair products do) and they don’t use any synthetic scents or colours either.

OWAY products even come in recyclable amber glass bottles or aluminium tubes, so their sustainability credentials are in line with our own, which we think is important.

Oh, and they’re made on an Italian biodynamic farm, which we like, because we’re all for looking after people and the environment …and we happen to have a little Italian in us too.
